- Download the latest stable release of NotePad+ from the Download Manager or using the JordanTBH Desktop App (Manager) and select Apps > Windows OS > NotePad Plus > Install. This will download and launch the installer from the app.
- Once you have downloaded NotePad+ from either the website or the desktop client open the archive file you just downloaded (NotePadPlus_vx.x.x.zip) and extract the ZIP file to your desktop we recommend using either WinRAR or 7-zip which are both free.
- Once you have completed step two go to where you extracted the files (i.e Desktop) double click on the set-up installer file (setup.exe) you may need to run this as administrator on Windows 7. The installer will then carry on doing the work and give step-by-step details with options to create desktop shortcut, quick-launch icon and smart menu you can also tick "Automatically check for Updates.." this is highly recommend.
